NW ORGANIZATIONAL MAINTENANCE
Washington State Military Department | Sedro-Woolley, Washington
Completed: 1999 | Construction Cost: $1.6 million
This 7,500-sf vehicle and equipment maintenance center is the third regional shop facility Schreiber Starling Whitehead Architects has designed for the Washington State Military Department. The building comprises two distinct wings. The lower wing houses administration and support spaces while a taller wing contains four 24’ x 40’ vehicle service bays in a drive-through configuration. Common support areas include tool and parts storage, a battery storage room, a repair shop for communications equipment, break room facilities and a training classroom.
